With the wealth of heritage that exists in indigenous communities like the Orang Asli, we believe community-based tourism might be a solution to building a more equitable world. Local communities can come together to reclaim their rights, find a space in mainstream culture by showcasing their uniqueness to the world, all while carving out sustainable livelihoods for themselves through ventures of their own making. Together with our Orang Asli partners, Native is striving for a nation that celebrates our colourful heritage and where every individual is able to own their story. Our dream is to see a world where indigenous communities are recognised and empowered to choose their own path.
